Memory Loss Does Not Expressly Mean Dementia
When someone close to you exhibits troubling memory loss issues, they could be symptoms of dementia. However, not all cases of memory loss are a symptom of this condition. To diagnose a memory loss problem as a symptom of dementia, the person should exhibit at least two types of impairments that are serious enough to get in the way of their day to day activities.
Other than memory loss, the patient may also have language and communication impairment, poor reason capacity, and lack of focus.
